How to take HemoHIM
The usual amount is one sachet twice a day, for example in the morning and in the evening. You can drink it straight or mixed with water. Many people take it on an empty stomach, but before or after a meal is fine too — consistency matters more than timing.

In an 8-week trial in 96 healthy adults, no clinically significant adverse events were found, but how often side effects occur in everyday use is not known. Children and pregnant or breastfeeding women should not take it. Talk to your doctor first if you:
- have planned surgery or take several supplements
- take prescription medicines, especially blood thinners or immunosuppressants
- have an autoimmune disease, liver disease or an organ transplant
- are allergic to any of the three herbs
Good to know: in November 2021 Hong Kong's Department of Health asked the public not to buy or consume HemoHIM after methoxsalen, an undeclared prescription drug, was found in a sample, and the product was withdrawn in Hong Kong, Taiwan and Singapore. When we checked in October 2026, it was sold again in Singapore and, as “HemoHIM G”, in Taiwan, but not in Hong Kong. We explain what happened in our dedicated article.
