What Atomy says about marketplace sales

• Atomy’s official FAQ: Atomy does not allow online resale of its products on platforms such as Amazon, eBay, Naver and Coupang, and resale can lead to action under its membership rules.

• Atomy Indonesia (May 2025): products bought outside the official platform may be fake, expired or not meet standards; Atomy is not responsible for losses and cannot accept returns for them.

• Atomy Indonesia (August 2023): reselling on marketplaces breaks the member code of ethics and can lead to loss of membership.

Why unauthorized sellers exist

Some resellers are members who buy in bulk and resell against the rules; others sell old stock, imports from another country, or products whose origin cannot be traced. From a listing alone you cannot tell which one you are dealing with.

The real risks

• Unknown origin: you cannot check where the product comes from or whether it is genuine.

• Age and storage: the product may be close to or past its expiry date, or stored in heat during long shipping.

• Wrong version or label: a product imported from another country may have a different label, language and instructions from the one registered where you live.

What regulators have said

In 2021 Colombia’s regulator INVIMA warned about the fraudulent sale of HemoHIM without a sanitary registration; in 2024 it confirmed a valid registration held by Atomy Colombia and advised buying only from the registration holder or its authorized distributors. Vietnam’s Ministry of Industry and Trade advised consumers not to buy Atomy products of unclear origin.

How to spot an unauthorized seller

• The seller is a marketplace shop or a private account rather than Atomy’s official mall for your country.

• The price is far below the price shown in Atomy’s mall.

• The seller cannot say where the product comes from, or the outer packaging is missing, damaged or relabelled.

• The label is in another language or does not match the product registered in your country.
